These china markers are of the same quality as there used to be available in the good old days. You know, the merchandise you can count on -- the china markers that peel like they should. In the high rise building I live in, people are being transferred to remodeled apartments and are packing for the move. I needed a couple of china markers. They're not available in the popular stores -- Wmt, Kmert, C pharmacy, or the W. Green. I ordered this box of a dozen on Amazon. I went down our wing and gave a marker to each friend. Several said, "Oh, the good ones!" They're delighted, and so am I. Great for marking on pasteboard boxes.I bought these to use on my NEEWER Clapper Board, and they work just fine. They leave a little trace, but I think that once I wax (car wax/Turtle Wax) my whiteboard that the problem will be fixed.Yes, if you use past car wax on your whiteborads, they clean off so much better...do it and do it often. These items arrived promptly, just as I used as a kid around 10 cents back in the day, lol! Anyway, less than $1 each as they could not be located in any retail or craft stores oddly. I did not need oil finished pencils. These black china markers (pencils) are fixing the issue I had without residue. Yes, the excess wipes off but the area needing to be filled in stays. Hope this helps in your quest to find reasonably priced black china markers. Hopefully no issues using the string as I always had someone else do that for me....wish me luck!Very pleased with the quality. Many thanks to other reviewers who pointed me to this product!. I am a potter and use china markers to make notes on the bottom of my waxed bisque ware, to remind myself what glaze to use and where the pot is going in the kiln. I could not find these markers in any local stores. Now that I know how other people use them, I will also mark my freezer containers with them, instead of using masking tape and permanent markers. These are the real deal. I purchased these because i needed to mark some sheet metal and i do not regret it one bit. I haven’t used in years and forgot how great they are. Highly recommend.will be using these to log dives on laminated cards I made while diving that way I have everything handy after a day of diving. Some of them seem to write better on glass than others. I’ve even warmed the glass a bit with my hand and some of them barely leave a mark. I’m sorely disappointed they’re not more consistent.Like. Write on wax paperSo much better than others I've bought.
