I’ve had these over a month now installed. Yes they are stiff when you receive them. Do a hot water ACV rinse. I did 3 cups HOT ACV and 2 cups HOT water. Soaked them for about 30 minutes. Not too much grime or dirt honestly. Then shampooed and conditioned. Let them dry overnight on a towel. After install they weren’t as stiff, I was able to get them styled without a issue….I’ve bleached the ends without any issues. And since I’ve had them in they have no stiffness. I’ll be doing another wash on them again soon. Also did the burn test on a few of them when I first received them and they are in fact human hair. I hope this helps someone.I use these extensions to avoid the ugly phase The extensions were washed after the install but they were still stiff and felt like wool I could not keep a style Longer than five days due to the itchiness in my scalp the hair did not stop itching until after approximately three routine salon visits at which time my hair would be washed.Good match25 if the locs wear extra hard in texture and flexibility.I am not happy. I had my extensions put on because I was having two back surgeries and would not be able to tend to my hair properly. I thought I would give “locs” a try without the short ugly period. I should of went the short ugly period. It was over 200 for the extensions and to have them put in another 750. I’m disappointed in what we call natural hair care what a crock.At first they didn’t send me the right amount of locs but since we got that straightened out I love my locs!!! When you first get them please wash them because they do smell weird. Oh and the loose hair on the top of the loc combs off easily and it be everywhere but other than that this hair is amazing highly recommend!!
