I absolutely LOVE this hair dye. It's easily my favorite dye and I've been using it for almost 9 months. I recommend it to anyone looking for a long lasting dye. When I first dye it, it comes out as a really pretty turquoise that leans towards blue. Like most blue dyes, it does eventually fade into more of a green, although a blue tint always remains. But the green is extremely pretty in my opinion and I still get loads of compliments on it. If you don't like the green then you will need to dye it ever couple months at the least. I recently went 6 MONTHS without re-dying and the color was still beautiful and vibrant. Another plus is that when I mix it with conditioner, it makes my hair super soft. With all that being said, I don't know that I can completely recommend this to someone who is looking for a more temporary color or who changes their hair color often. I've never tried bleaching this dye out of my hair but since it is so long lasting, I'm assuming it has permanently stained my hair. Green dyes have a reputation of staining hair and this dye doesn't seem to stray from that.I have been dyeing my hair fun colors for seven years; Directions is my favorite brand for turquoise. The color is vibrant and lasts for months. The color it fades to looks nice as well; people often think I've dyed my hair mint on purpose and compliment the "new" color. I find that this color sticks well to bleached hair but washes out quickly from unbleached hair.Note that dyes work differently on different hair. For instance, Manic Panic lasts all of a day on me but for weeks on friends. The turquoise from Directions lasts longer and gets more vibrant on my hair than any of the many other brands/colors I've tried. If you are new to colorful hair dyes I recommend trying a few different brands as your colors fade to see which ones work best for you; I have different go-to brands for different colors since each holds differently.Bought this to touch up daughters salon color as we’ve moved states away from our stylist. This 4 pack of color is easy to use, quick, easy to rinse, and doesn’t leave left-over color on neck. Applied it almost 3 weeks ago and color is just as vibrant as first day. The color is a beautiful, glossy deep turquoise and she receives compliments daily. Sent our stylist a pic and she gave a thumbs up! Gave 4 stars for longevity only because I don’t know how long it will truly last. Daughter has past shoulder length hair and color starts about 3” past roots and for full head application we used about 1 1/2 jars so we will get 2+ applications from this order. Will order again as it is striking color and leaves hair very soft.Turquoise is my favorite hair color to have and I've tried several different brands. This stuff is my favorite. It's easy to use and lasts long, and doesn't look to cruddy when it fades.Only problem this time around was the shipping time. I don't remember these having to come from a whole other continent any of the other times I've ordered them, but for some reason this time it was being mailed from UK to US, and shipping took way longer than I expected. I was ready to dye my hair weeks before this stuff finally showed up lol.Nice color. Fades after two weeks of washing with cold water, probably one week with hot. Teal is a hard color to keep from fading, but this is the best one I've tried so far.My fave hair dye. The best turquoise you can buy! This dye is very vibrant and rich and lasts very well. While you have this in your hair, unless you want your clothes ruined, wear black. This includes bedsheets, pillowcases, sofa, basically anything your head is going to come into contact with. Even when your hair is dry, brushing your hair and putting it in a ponytail will turn your hands green and stain all your brushes and appliances like straighteners. It will also stain your bath/shower when you rinse it. Due to this I probably won’t buy it again despite loving the colour. Washes out VERY quickly too. Colour is vivid until you wash your hair then most of it washes out.This is the first time I have tried dimensions. I am a convert. Such a gorgeous result. Have had so many compliments on the torquoise too
