My doctor recommended this product because of its non-toxic ingredients (she uses it in a dark, auburn brown). It's really impossible to determine the color you need online, and as a result this product did not work for me (too dark a blonde, too light a brown). If you know the color you need in this brand, go for it. Otherwise it will be a risk. I gave the 2nd box away, hopefully it will work for someone else.Don't waste ue money. It covered my early greys with a very natural subtle colour. I mixed this product with the Hazelnut colourant as my hair is a variety of honey blonde shades. It worked very well. The shampoo kept my hair cleaner for longer and the conditioner made it softer. I have ordered the shampoo and conditioner separately as a result.I am buying this product again because, although I found washing my hair first with half the shampoo given, and then colouring, and then shampooing again, and conditioning, a bit of a nuisance, it did make my hair soft and shiny, and the blonde became a light-ish red-ish, brown-ish colour. I did the same again a week later to deepend the colour as I'm really a light brown.My hair is naturally light brown ginger with a few white hairs in the front mixed in my fringe. This dye lightened my hair a bit and actually brought out more ginger than blonde, which was a pleasant surprise, so unless I'm mistaken I'd say it works with your natural colour very nicely. The box says it's only good for 10 washes, and in my experience that's correct. It covered a few white (grey) hairs as it claimed it would. In my opinion, this product does exactly what the box says it will, which is a plus, but unfortunately it's quite expensive for something that doesn't last long. I have since tried the permanent colour and it produced the same colour effect but it's longer-lasting and better at covering my white hairs.Would not recommend this product at all. I’ve been growing my hair our for the last 1.5 years from being bleach blonde. I wanted to colour the ends where the bleach was so there wasn’t such a harsh difference between my natural hair and the bleach. Got a golden blonde which on the box looked like a darker blonde. Didn’t make my hair darker at all, just ginger. Certainly not the shade on the box. Disappointed.
